Enough
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 30, 2026
Enough is built by Gagan Arora. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and how it stays on your device.
Overview
Enough helps you set daily time limits for apps you choose. To do that, it needs to know how long you use those apps each day.
All of this information stays on your phone. The app has no internet access, no account, no analytics, and no ads. We do not operate any server that receives your data.
Permissions the app asks for
• Usage Access: lets the app see which app is open and for how long, using Android’s usage statistics. This is how your minutes are counted. The app never reads what is on your screen, what you type, or any content inside other apps.
• Display over other apps: lets the app show its Time’s up screen on top of an app when you reach that app’s limit. It is used for nothing else.
• Notifications (optional): used for heads-ups before a limit is reached, reminders when a permission is turned off, and the quiet notification Android requires while the app tracks in the background.
• Run at startup: lets tracking resume after your phone restarts or the app updates.
You can turn any of these off at any time in your phone’s Settings. Limits cannot be tracked or enforced without Usage Access and Display over other apps.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the following only in its private storage on your phone:
• The apps you chose to limit and the daily limit for each.
• How long you used each of those apps per day, which limit applied that day, and which heads-ups were sent.
• Extra minutes you took from the Time’s up screen.
• Your settings, such as extension length and warning preferences.
To let you pick apps, the app reads the list of apps installed on your phone. This list is used on your device only and is not stored or shared.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share any personal information. This includes your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, messages, photos, and device identifiers.
The app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or social login services, and it cannot connect to the internet.
Backups and deleting your data
The app’s data is excluded from Android cloud backups and from transfers to a new phone, so it never leaves your device that way either.
Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in your phone’s Settings, permanently deletes all of its data.
Third-party services
The app itself does not use any third-party services.
Google Play may collect information related to downloads, updates, and purchases according to its own terms and privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
The app is meant for people managing their own phone use. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region).
Data security
Because your data stays on your device, protecting your device (a screen lock, system updates, and care when sharing your phone) is the main way to keep it private.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
